Copycat Magnolia Chocolate Chip Cookies - slightly modified

I've always been annoyed by other online blog recipes where you have to scroll through a million paragraphs to find the recipe. So i'll make it short and sweet. Enjoy!

Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 10-11 minutes Makes about 24 large cookies.

Ingredients

-2 1/2 cups flour - 2 cups light brown sugar (packed)

-1 tsp baking soda -2 large eggs

-1/2 tsp sea salt -1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

-1 stick of butter (8 tbsp) -1 bag of semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Then set aside.

Using your stand mixer bowl with the paddle attachment (or any large bowl with your handheld mixer), mix the butter and brown sugar on medium speed for about 2-3 minutes. Then add eggs and vanilla extract.

Turn the mixer off and slowly add in your dry mix. Mix on low-medium until everything is combined into a dough like mix.

Add the chocolate chips! You can use half a bag, but my family loves chocolate so we use a whole bag.

Drop spoonfuls on a silicone baking sheet, or parchment paper that is placed on your cookie sheet.

Place in the oven for 10-11 minutes or until edges are slightly golden brown.

Remove and let cool 1 minute before transferring to a plate or baking rack.

Enjoy!

My kids and husband love these right out of the oven, but I prefer them to be completely cooled. I did modify the recipe slightly, but the original is very close! You can find the recipe in the Magnolia Table Cookbook along with other amazing recipes.
